Parti Quebecois MNAs are deciding if they want to become the next leader of the partly.
One week after Pierre Karl Peladeau resigned as party leader and MNA, only Veronique Hivon has officially declared her candidacy.
Alexandre Cloutier and Martine Ouellet are expected to formally annouced their desire to become PQ leader later this week, while Jean-Francois Lisée is still contemplating the idea.
Lisée was in Paris last week, and said he was shocked to hear of PKP's sudden resignation.
Since he returned to Quebec he has been holding conversations to see if he will, once again, run to become leader.
"Talking to a lot of people. Talking to old hats, talking to young militants, talking to the people who were with me last time, talking to the peole who weren't with me last time. Talking to family, friends, to my colleagues to see what they have to say," said Lisée.
He said that if he runs, it will be on one condition: "I can bring something to the table that is not on offer among these other excellent candidates."
Lisée is inviting people to comment on his blog, should they wish.
On Wednesday morning, former Finance Minister Nicholas Marceau said he would not be running to become PQ leader.
