Update: Montreal police on Friday (Oct. 18) said the boy was found safe and sound.

Montreal police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old boy who has been missing since Sept. 29.

The boy was last seen around 6:30 p.m. that evening in the Riviere-des-Prairies borough.

His family said they fear for his safety as he requires medication that was not in his possession at the time of his disappearance.

The family said he might be in the area of Verdun or Longueuil.

The boy stands five feet and six inches tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has light blue eyes and long blond hair. He speaks French.

He was last seen wearing black ‘KAPPA’ sports pants, a black sports jacket and white Nike shoes.
