Motorists taking Highway 15 can expect some major inconvenience in the next few days, as overnight closures will force motorists to take alternate routes.

Starting on Thursday May 1, repair work will force motorists off the 15 at either Exit 60 to the Bonaventure Expressway or the westbound A-720 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.

The northbound lanes will be closed again later Friday night as drivers will be forced off either at Exit 58 (to the Bonaventure Expressway) or to the A-720 west from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday.

The access ramp from Nuns Island to the 15 North will also be closed during that same time, while those attempting to get on the 15 north from the Bonaventure Expressway will be unable to do so from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

Southbound traffic will be affected from 11 p.m. Saturday night, as drivers will be forced off at Exit 60 to the Bonaventure Expressway until 7 a.m. Sunday.

Other nearby closures are possible as well, depending on work required.

The northbound 15 will be closed again Sunday evening from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. as motorists will be forced off either at the Bonaventure Expressway (east) or the A-720 (west). The northbound ramp onto the 15 from Nuns Island will be closed again during that time as will the access from the Bonaventure Expressway to the 15 north.

And finally on Monday night at 11 p.m. the southbound 15 will be closed from Exit 60 (Bonaventure Expressway) until 5 a.m. Tuesday, while the Gaétan-Laberge St. access ramp to A-15 South (towards the Champlain Bridge) will be shut down from 11 p.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday.
