Not content to have a regular summer job during high school and CEGEP, Christine Long worked in photography in Banff, Alberta and London, England, before heading to McGill University.

Christine obtained a BA in English and Communications as well as a Certificate in public relations management. While she studied full-time she decided to challenge herself by joining the Canadian Forces. Between school and the Forces she also worked as a DJ at CHOM-FM. At 18 years of age, she was the youngest and the only female DJ in the city. Christine's DJ career at CHOM lasted eight years.

To take a break from late night rock 'n' roll, Christine followed her wanderlust again and moved to Tokyo, Japan for two years where she worked in English news radio at NHK, and as a DJ at WAVE FM. Before heading home, Chris travelled extensively throughout Asia for six months.

Christine worked at a CTV Montreal arts and entertainment reporter/producer for many years and, for the past 5 years, has been working as a video journalist covering general assignment news meeting interesting people while filming and editing all her own material for television and radio on a daily basis.

Chris is married and the proud parent of two teenagers.

She proudly supports Rosie Animal Adoption, The West Island Women's Centre, and the Missing Children's Network.
