BAIE D'URFE - Montreal police are asking a man who may have information about a violent attack at an SAQ in Baie d'Urfé to come forward.

The man, whose image was captured on the store's surveillance video, is considered an important witness to a violent crime that took place in the store on Monday Oct. 18 just before noon.

He left shortly before two men stormed in and shot the female clerk in the back of her neck.

Constable Anie Lemieux stress the man in the video is not a suspect.

"Does he know anything? Did he see anything suspicious before he went into the SAQ, or did he see anything when he came out of the SAQ that might help investigators?" said Lemieux.

Surveillance video of a man police consider an important witness. He left the store before the crime took place.

The 58-year-old woman's spinal cord was severed, and she will remain a quadriplegic for the rest of her life.

Police believe she was deliberately targetted and that the attackers meant to kill the woman, since nothing was taken from the store.

Sun Youth is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest or conviction of the culprits.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Info Crime at 514-393-1133.
