The MUHC has decided the best way to raise money for its new hospital, and for other construction, is to teach doctors how to dance.

Ten doctors, including psychiatrist Dr. Dara Alexandra Charney, are taking lessons to prepare for the 'Dancing with the Docs' event which takes place on Saturday, February 4th, 2012.

The amateur affair will come complete with celebrity judges, including several CTV staff members and Jean-Marc Genereux, best known for his role as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

Genereux has personal reasons for supporting the campaign.

"I've got two kids and my daughter Francesca has Rett's Syndrome," said Genereux. As a result, he and his family have to make frequent hospital trips to deal with complications caused by the rare genetic disorder.
