Montreal Impact midfield Ballou Tabla skipped a training session on Tuesday amid reports the 18-year-old wants to leave the team.

According to an ESPN report, the Impact have refused transfer offers from European clubs. Among those reportedly interested is the English club Chelsea.

Ballou has two goals in 16 MLS games this season and added another goal in three games during the Canadian Championship. He’s under contract with the Impact through the end of the 2018 season.

He missed the Impact’s Saturday game, a 2-1 victory over Orlando City SC, with a knee injury.

Impact Technical Director Adam Braz is scheduled to meet with the media after Tuesday’s practice.
