MONTREAL - "There is just comedy everywhere in this city, from the weather, to the roads, its tough not to be funny in this city," said Dan Bingham, a stand-up comic who was part of Sugar Sammy's very popular show at the Olympia.

"Or you have to be, just to get by."

The Montrealer will be hosting a show on the Comedy Network at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday. Describing the writing of his funny show, the comedian revealed howtaxing the experience was.

"The whole writing process was an emotional rollercoaster," said Bingham. "I learned that if you don't go all the way, someone once told me, ‘Balls to the wall,' you'll never write a product worth paying attention to.

"I laughed and cried while writing that show."
