A memorial service took place Monday for a cherished CTV colleague.
Veteran cameraman Hugh Haugland died in a helicopter crash Wednesday August 5 while covering the tornado damage in Mont Laurier.
Monday night, hundreds of people, including Hugh's family, friends, and fellow journalists packed a chapel at the Mount Royal funeral complex for the service.
Hugh is survived by his daughters Yvonne and Lianne, their mother Lynn Rainville, his partner Francine Maill� and her daughters Carolane and M�lanie, his mother Nancy Peck, father Bill Haugland, stepmother Linda Haugland, sister Heidi, and brothers Matt and James.
Hugh's rich career and love of life will live on through the Hugh Haugland Memorial Scholarship Fund.
