A number of memorial events are planned for this weekend.
On Saturday, the Ecole Polytechnique will hold a private service for students, staff and families.

Until December 20, an art exposition is taking place at l'Universite de Montreal.
Located in the pavilion of the faculty of construction, the display called 20 Years of Action is open on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Sundays from noon until 6 p.m.
White ribbons will also be handed out, as will scholarships in honour of the slain women.
