A man is in critical condition after being pulled from the St. Lawrence River in Verdun Wednesday evening.
Police received a call around 6 p.m. about a report of a body in the river and responded to an area near LaSalle Boulevard and de l’Église Avenue.
Jean-Pierre Brabant, a police spokesperson, said investigators are trying to piece together how the man ended up in the water.
