MONTREAL -- A 27-year-old man died early Friday morning after driving his truck off the road near the Honore-Mercier bridge.

The accident happened at around 12:45 a.m. on Route 138 near the Airlie exit. Police believe speed could be a factor.

While the man’s body was transported to a local hospital, he was determined dead by paramedics from Urgences Sante.

The man was alone in his vehicle at the time of the accident.
