Police spokesperson Manuel Couture said the man was attacked at 8:30 p.m. on Atwater Ave. near Sherbrooke St.
The victim was stabbed in the upper body, said Couture.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The man is in stable condition, police say.
The investigation is ongoing. So far there are no suspects.
