Montreal police are attempting to piece together the events that led up to a stabbing early Thursday morning on Beaubien and 30th Avenue in Rosemont.
According to first reports, police arrived on the scene around 1 a.m. after receiving reports of a man standing in the middle of 30th Avenue, screaming.
The 20-year-old man had sustained stab wounds to his upper and lower body, and was transported to hospital.
Police believe he will survive his injuries.
Though the victim is known to police, they say he is not cooperating with the investigation at this time.
It is unclear whether he knew his attacker.
