The Montreal Impact (4-1-0) saw their undefeated streak end at four Saturday as Sporting KC (2-1-2) scored a 2-0 victory over the visitors.

The game was not as close as the score suggests, however, as a lackluster Impact could barely muster any offence.

Indeed the Montreal squad only registered its first shot, a Marco Di Vaio blast, against the Sporting keeper in the 59th minute.

Sporting took an early lead when Claudio Bieler swept in after an interception of a long Patrice Bernier pass.

Sporting doubled their lead in the 80th minute with an impressive goal by American Graham Zusi, who fought off Quebecer Karl Ouimette to get in alone on Impact goalkeeper Troy Perkins.

The Impact next play April 13, as they host the Columbus Crew.
