Tickets to Madonna's upcoming tour went on sale Friday and sold out fast -- but the high prices are nothing to celebrate, with some in Montreal going for more than $6,000.
All that remains on the Ticketmaster site are verified re-sellers.
According to music industry expert Eric Alper, it's what's know as "surge pricing."
