When it comes to getting the most out of each litre of gasoline there are many things that can be done, and they are all fairly simple.
The Automobile Protection Association and CAA-Quebec recommend:
- Drive smoothly/avoid sudden starts and stops
- Use cruise control
- Drive at a slower speed
- Maintain vehicle (oil/fluid changes)
- Check tire pressure
- Remove unnecessary weight
- Forget about gas-saving devices: none of them work
