MONTREAL - A man in his 70s suffered minor injuries during a home invasion early Monday morning in St. Zotique, about 70 km southwest of Montreal.
The incident began when two men in their thirties entered the man’s home on 70th Ave. at about 1:40 a.m. demanding money.
The home invaders hit the victim and tied him up. He was later able to free himself and get help.
He was hospitalized for minor injuries.
The two men reportedly failed to get cash from the victim.
One of the suspects is described as being 1m72 (5’8”). Both spoke French and wore dark coats with hoods. One was armed with a gun.
