Gordon Ramsay to take over Laurier Ave. rotisserie

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is set to buy Montreal mainstay, the Rotisserie Laurier BBQ.

Ramsey, well known for his foul rants on cooking shows like Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, will take over the restaurant on Laurier Ave. in Mile End in February.

"I think this is a great thing for the city. I think it's not only going to raise the bar for other restaurants in the city, but it's also going to give like the rotisserie places some tough competition," said food writer Joanna Fox.
