Family and friends of Jessica Neilson laid her to rest on Tuesday, and justice was on their minds.

The 25-year-old mother went missing Dec. 8. Her body was found four months later, sitting in the passenger seat of her car which was parked in an alley in St. Henri.

The car was covered with snow, which is why police believe no one spotted the body, or the car, sooner.

Funeral

Neilson's parents, Donald and Robena Neilson, led the procession into the church. Following them was Jessica's partner, Shawn Murray, with the couple's 2-year-old daughter.

Neilson was remembered as a bubbly, friendly person and a passionate mother.

"She's a very loving person. She loved everything. She would always smile at work, always in an upbeat mood," said Lindsay Lee, who was a close friend. "She's a very, very amazing person."

In the eulogy, Neilson's aunt said they wanted answers. She said Jessica's killer would be found, and that he or she would go through the justice process.
