A restaurant caught fire early Thursday morning in Mirabel, making it difficult for some children to get to school.
The fire took place at 9959 St. Canut Blvd., which is located near Sainte Anne elementary school.
When parents and school buses were dropping off children the main route to the school was closed as firefighters put out the last of the flames.
Firefighters say the damage to the building was not extensive, but the cause is unknown.
