HUDSON -- The residents of a three-storey apartment building in Hudson, Que. will have to find new homes.

A late-night fire razed through the building, leaving the residences destroyed.

No one was injured.

The building’s fire-alarm went off and 25 people were able to escape and safely evacuate their homes.

The fire department received the call at around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

About 50 firefighters from a variety of different departments were called to the scene.

The blaze reportedly started on the building’s second floor, but officials don't know yet exactly how it started.

Firefighters are currently investigating.
