Owners of a vegan restaurant in the Plateau say they’re deeply affected after one of their employees was seriously injured Friday.
The man got his arm stuck in a feeder mechanism of a pita-making machine in the kitchen at Aux Vivres restaurant.
The machine had to be disassembled and part of it transported to hospital with the man.
The owners of the restaurant have confirmed the man has lost his hand.
The restaurant was closed Saturday, and the CSST is investigating.
