Construction crews will once again be closing the Ville Marie Expressway this weekend.
All ramps leading to the Eastbound Route 136 from the Turcot Interchange will close at 11:30 p.m. Friday Aug. 18, and reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.
The ramp from the westbound Ville Marie/Highway 720 to the Decarie Expressway/Highway 15 North will be closed from midnight Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
Crews will be working on sewage and drain pipes, as well as installing support beams to add more lanes to Route 136.
The Mercier Bridge will be closed Friday night as crews work underneath the span.
Lanes will start closing at 9 p.m. and will reopen at 5 a.m. Saturday August 19.
Crews will be replacing bearings under the bridge.
But once the bridge reopens, drivers coming into Montreal from the South Shore will not be able to access Highway 20 East.
The access ramp from Highway 138/Mercier Bridge to Highway 20 East will be closed from 5 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.
