MONTREAL - Police detectives are making the rounds at costume supply shops following an incident in which two men wore clown costumes to hold up an office near Lafontaine Park.
Two black men entered the office at 1034 Sherbrooke East at 5 p.m. on May 1 clad in colourful wigs, masks and even brought what police describe as high-quality balloons.
It is not known whether the suspects were armed but they managed to leave with a significant amount of money and fled in a car parked near the building.
Police are asking anybody with information about the crime, or where the costumes might have been obtained, to call 514-393-1133.
