Montreal is in the depth of its coldest snap of the season so far.

Overnight Thursday saw temperatures of -18C, but with the wind, they felt like -28C.

Temperatures are even slightly colder on Friday, dropping to a low of -19C overnight, but it will feel like a bitter -29C with the wind.

If you plan to go outside, bundle up – there’s a serious frostbite risk at that temperature.

Our coldest temperatures so far this season were on Dec. 8, at -17.5C and on Nov. 22 at 17.8C.
