One dead in ATV crash: OPP

Police are investigating an ATV collision in the City of Kawartha Lakes Saturday evening that resulted in the death of one individual.

According to the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP, officers, fire and emergency medical services responded to a report of a ‘serious’ ATV collision at around 7 p.m. on Snug Harbour Road.

Police say a 29-year-old has been confirmed dead as a result of the collision.

The area was reopened after being closed for several hours as investigators worked on the scene.
