Quebec drivers will again see a savings when they renew their licences next year. On Tuesday, Quebec automobile insurance board the SAAQ and the provincial government confirmed that a regular driver's licence or motorcycle licence will cost $25.50.

Jean Laroque used the money from a small previous Lotto Max win to purchase a ticket for the Oct. 31 draw from a depanneur in Coaticook. A Quebec man is facing charges related to a major counterfeit money smuggling investigation, according to the Canadian Border Services Agency. Jean-François Genereux is set to appear on Dec. 4 at the Sorel-Tracey courthouse to face charges including buying, importing and possessing currency, and providing false information in a customs declaration.
