Man shot in LaSalle, police investigating

MONTREAL -

Montreal police say a man was shot in the hip in LaSalle Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Viola-Desmond Street near Newman Boulevard.

The victim is expected to survive.

Police do not have a suspect in custody and a perimeter has been established as officers investigate the crime scene.
