Anti-tuition protesters teamed up with several other groups for a march from downtown Montreal to the Premier's home.

The march was, not officially planned, and, as is routine, protesters refused to tell police where they were going.

However once it became apparent the protesters were marching to Westmount police moved in to guard Jean Charest's home.

The premier was not there, so protesters staged a sit-in.

The march was largely peaceful, except for one protester who smashed a CTV videocamera and ran off into the crowd.

Several stop signs were vandalized to read '101'.

Police arrested and fined two people for violating municipal bylaws.
