Two vehicles were damaged after a fire in Montreal's Saint-Laurent borough early Tuesday morning.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 2:45 a.m. about a vehicle on fire in the parking lot of a home on Côte-Vertu Road near Lebeau Boulevard.

"The vehicle is a total loss," said Caroline Chèvrefils, a spokesperson with Montreal police. "Another vehicle parked nearby had minor damage."

No incendiary device was found on site, and there were no reported injuries.

There have been no arrests, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.

The file has been transferred to the Montreal police arson squad.
