A violent crash claimed the life of one person and injured two others in Mile End early Saturday morning.
An SUV travelling at high speed hit a parked car and crashed into a building on Van Horne Ave. at Waverly St. at 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
The 21-year-old driver succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The rear-seat passenger, also in his 20s is in critical condition.
The passenger in the front seat is very lucky to walk away with only minor injuries.
Alcohol or speeding may have been the cause of the crash.
