The Longueuil police are still searching for a 55-year-old woman who was reported missing on Friday.
Deborah Laurent-Gervais was reported to have disappeared by her husband after she did not return from work on Sept. 27.
Laurent-Gervais went missing around 1:00 pm, from a family home in Greenfield Park where she works as a cleaning lady.
She was scheduled to work again this Monday at 10:00 am, although she did not show up for her shift.
Police say they've searched nearby hospitals and parks, and are continuing to pursue efforts to find her.
Laurent-Gervais is described by police as a white female, who is 1.55 meters (5 ft. 1”) tall and weighs 73 kg (160 lbs). She has brown hair and speaks English. The police have asked that anyone that might have seen her contact 9-1-1 as soon as possible.
Police say there is a possibility that she may have been having suicidal thoughts.
A spokesperson from the Longueuil police says the force will be reassesing their search strategy today, as they continue efforts to locate Laurent-Gervais.
