The arson squad is examining a delivery van that was set on fire overnight.
Witnesses called 9-1-1 around 2:30 a.m. to report a van parked in a lot in an industrial area on 18th Ave. in St. Michel was on fire.
Firefighters put out the flames, then notified police that the fire had been deliberately set.
The arson squad, a division of the police force, has taken over the case and towed the van away to be inspected.
