One man was badly hurt when fire destroyed a home in Salaberry de Valleyfield.
Firefighters suspect an electrical malfunction sparked the fire at 11 p.m Tuesday on Salaberry St.
They were not able to save the house from being destroyed by the flames. Four nearby homes were damage to varying degrees.
A man was taken to hospital with severe burns but he is expected to survive.
