Two people were critically injured in a murder attempt in Terrebonne that is linked to three deaths in Boucherville.

The incident occurred before 6 p.m. Thursday outside the officers of the Coté-Gosselin law firm at 1000 Montee des Pionniers St.

The victims were rushed to Le Gardeur Hospital, located just one block away and as of Friday afternoon they remained in critical condition.

The SQ is working with local police on the investigation. While police have not given out any details on who the victims were or how they were injured, witnesses reportedly heard gunshots.

People who work in the building were questioned by police for several hours before being allowed outside.

The crime scene is just a block away from the site of a gangland style shooting of a former Hells Angels enforcer who was gunned down in his wheelchair on May 6.

On Friday afternoon an officer from the Sureté du Quebec said the attempted murder of the lawyer and an employee was linked to the three deaths in Boucherville.

At this point police are operating under the belief that one man went to Terrebonne and fired at the two people in the lawyer's office, then returned home to Boucherville and committed suicide.
