The second person accused of committing a heinous triple murder in Trois Rivieres has pleaded guilty to all counts.

The young man appeared in court Friday morning to change his plea to guilty of three charges of first-degree murder, and three charges of conspiracy.

The other teenager who had been accused in the crime pleaded guilty in June 2014.

None of the three victims, a 17-year-old girl and her 17-year-old boyfriend, as well as the girl's 22-year-old sister, can be named because federal law prohibits naming the victims of crimes committed by minors.

Police said the motive for the two teenaged killers was jealousy. One of the boys could not stand having been rejected by the younger girl.

The boys also plotted to kill the girls' mother and two police officers.
