Police investigating the suspicious death of a 47-year-old man now believe it could have been an accident.
The man's body was found in an apartment on Roy St. in Dorval on Sunday afternoon.
Officers say they have had encounters with the man before, but while they are not sure what caused his death, after discussions with witnesses on Monday now believe he could have been extremely intoxicated.
They have determined that the man was not killed by someone else.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine a cause.
