The SQ, in conjunction with the Longueuil, Terrebonne and Mascouche police services, are investigating a series of sexual offences that took place Wednesday.
The four incidents occurred in Mascouche, Terrebonne, St. Bruno and St. Hubert.
Wednesday evening, a woman called police after she was attacked in the parking lot of the Promenades St. Bruno shopping centre just after closing time.
She was taken to hospital and underwent a physical and psychological evaluation, then discharged overnight.
The woman, who is in her 20s, met with Longueuil police on Thursday morning, but so far has only been able to say she was attacked by a man driving a white SUV.
Around 8 p.m. a woman in Terrebonne called police to report that she was walking on Castille St. when a man behind the wheel of a white SUV approached, pulled over and exposed himself.
An SQ spokesperson said it's believed the same person committed all four acts, but would not elaborate on what happened in Mascouche and St. Hubert as the investigation continues.
