Animal authorities are expressing concern after a cat was found dismembered on Belcourt Crescent in the Duvernay district of Laval May 16.

The kitten had a limb cut off and its throat slit. Two other cats had earlier been found poisoned with antifreeze in the same area, according to the SPCA, and other cats were also reported to have suffered suspicious deaths near there as well.

The SPCA is asking for anybody with tips concerning the deaths to contact them at 514-735-2711 x 2230 or email inspection@spca.com
