Police are on the lookout for thieves who scampered off with $60,000 worth of dog food on Wednesday, December 3 in South Shore Boucherville.

The thieves got their paws on a semi-trailer on Volta St. at about 10:30 p.m., which was only recovered empty six days later in Maskinonge, about 100 kilometres northeast.

The bandits took off with 2,200 bags of First Choice, Pronature Original and Pronature Holidstic dog food, in packs ranging from 7, 12, 15 and 20 kilograms.

The dog food had been earmarked to be exported abroad.
