Montreal police are looking for possible shooting victims after several shots were fired in a parking lot.

Officer Louis Heroux said people near St. Michel Blvd. and Legendre St. called 9-1-1 around 10 p.m. Monday after hearing the shots.

Police rushed to the area and "with the help of witnesses that were able to lead them to this parking lot right here where officers were able to search and find shell casings," said Heroux.

"Now the investigators are here to try and reconstruct what happened, try and locate other witnesses that might help in solving this crime."

Officers spent the night searching the parking lot but found no sign that anyone had been hurt.
