Canadian Milos Raonic offered another service clinic in Cincinnati Thursday, beating the 5th seeded Tomas Berdych, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 to earn a place in the quarter finals of what is seen as an important warm-up tournament for the U.S. Open.

Raonic, of Thornhill, Ontario, slammed 20 aces in just under two housr against the Czech-born Wimbledon 2010 finalist.

He also hit 33 winners and broke Berdych three times.

Raonic, who is now 19th on the ATP rankings, will now duel the Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, who beat the Japanese Kei Nishikori 6-3, 6-3.
