Jean Lapierre and Don Macpherson are not holding the PQ government in very high regard.

"I think they're panicked because they expected to have a majority and they ended up with a minority instead,' said Macpherson.

"They had to adjust to that and they're having to feel their way."

Lapierre is even harsher, calling Premier Marois an "amateur."

"The first cabinet meeting lasted a couple of hours and she made announcements for $4 billion without knowing the state of the finances," said Lapierre.

"I think they've lost a lot of credibility in the first week, and shown that they're not ready to govern."
