MONTREAL - Police are asking anybody with information concerning the activities of Howard Krupp, 67, to contact them to share what they know.

The West Island resident appeared in Montreal court Thursday to face two charges of criminal harassment of children, which he allegedly committed in Kirkland.

Krupp was released Thursday on several conditions and a promise to return for trial early next year.

Krupp allegedly approached young children as they disembarked from school buses between October 20 and November 14.

Police are attempting to determine if Krupp engaged in any other inappropriate actions and issued the call Friday to the public in an attempt to complete their file.

Krupp, a onetime foster parent, had previously been convicted of possessing 12,000 images of boys aged five to 12 on his computer.

That arrest, in September 1999, was touted at the time as the biggest child pornography bust in Montreal. Krupp plead guilty and was given an 18-month sentence to be served in the community.

He stands 5'5" and weighs 154 lbs (1.68 m, 70 kg).
