A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a murder in St-Jerome on Saturday night.
A Surete du Quebec spokesperson refused to comment on any connections between the suspect and the 60-year-old victim, who has been identified as Daniel Robert.
On Friday at around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call at a home on Briere St. in Saint Jerome.
According to police the man had been seriously injured and had to be transported to hospital where he was declared dead.
Police say there were signs of violence on the body of the victim.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
