MONTREAL—Police investigators are looking into the death of a man in his 40s who fell from an apartment building in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve on New Year’s Day.
A call went through to Montreal police just after 2:10 p.m. when a man was found behind a building on Joliette St. in the city’s East End. The man was found by police and transported to hospital where he was declared dead.
“Investigators are on the scene and are speaking with witnesses to understand what happened,” said Montreal police spokeswoman Anie Lemieux.
Police say that it is possible that the man fell from a window.
