Pointe-Saint-Charles celebrated some people of note, including Canadian Olympic wrestler Dorothy Yeats, as it inducted new members into its Hall of Recognition on Saturday.
Yeats won gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. During her speech, she talked about the importance of community support for young athletes.
The Hall highlights community volunteers and others who have had a positive impact on the area’s history and youth.
