Quebec’s Mike Fournier came so close to thrilling Montreal curling fans Saturday night, when he was on the verge of advancing to the finals of the Canadian Mixed Curling Championships.
He fell short, however, losing 9-8 in extra ends to Ontario, leaving the final matchup at the TMR Curling Club up to Ontario and first-place Nova Scotia.
Brian Wilde was there and files this report on the final match-up.
