The Toledo Walleye of the ECHL have gone whole hog in their attempt to capture the holiday spirit, as they announced that they will be wearing a gaudy special Christmas sweater until December 26.
The sweater, designed to appear to be a wool-knit, features reindeer and snowflakes and a combination of blues and brown.
The team is taking a page from the Knoxville IceBears who are also sporting holiday sweaters with reindeer and snowflakes that only Bill Cosby could love.
The Walleye are wearing the gear to raise cash for charity by auctioning off the sweaters.
